This photo is of flowers in a garden.
I like that the water droplets on the flower are in focus. It helps show the texture of the petals and brings your attention to the fine details of the photo.
The week's photo challenge I found that using black and white was very effective. Instead of looking at the different colours of a photo, you look at all the different textures and lighting used. Black and white also makes your photo look more serious or helps to portray a certain mood you are going for.

For this week's photography challenge we did reflections.
I took this photo in my backyard with a bowl of water. Getting the camera to focus on the rose was very difficult.
My favourite part about this photo is the contrast. The colours are very bright and stand out.
Although the rose is reflected, it still looks very crisp and real.
The process of taking the reflection photos was very interesting and showed me that planning is key when doing a photo shoot.

Here's my photo for the Rainbow Challenge.
I took this picture at a local playground. This playground was perfect for this week's photo challenge becasue everything is different colours.
I really like how the rings lead you into the picture towards the girl.

After some editing, I was able to bring all the different colours (especially in the flowers) out which helped catpure the theme of Rainbow :)
